IGA Approved Courses (Abroad)

Updated: Feb 24, 2021

IGA Approved Courses being run outside the U.K.

Here at the IGA, we are proud to contribute to the development of and to maintain oversight of courses run outside the UK in a variety of countries so that they can be approved by the Institute.

The ICC offers a consultation service whereby an experienced Group Analyst will assist in shaping the development of international courses with local organisers, to enable the course to meet the criteria for training set out by the IGA. The ICC will maintain oversight of the course to ensure that it continues to meet the criteria until students graduate. At intermediate level successful students are awarded the IGA International Diploma in Groupwork Practice and at qualifying level, the status of Qualified Group Analyst (International).

The IGA has a proud legacy of supporting the development of courses in St Petersburg & Moscow in Russia, Kigali in Rwanda, Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa, Bengalaru in India and Tirana in Albania and is keen to support the growth of group analytic thinking across the world.
